Message from our CEO

It is my pleasure to welcome you to learning about Garden Park Medical Center.  Our state-of–the-art facility exemplifies what a community hospital can do to support the health and welfare a community.  We are proud of both our exceptional clinical outcomes and the compassionate care our employees show every day for those in need.  Garden Park has a rich history of serving the Mississippi Gulf Coast region for over thirty-five years.  During this time, Garden Park has continually expanded services to meet the needs of our patients with a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, surgery and emergency services. 

In 2000, Garden Park relocated to the I-10 /Hwy. 49 Orange Grove corridor of Gulfport, Mississippi to a $54 million campus.  This move demonstrated our steadfast commitment to a strategic plan which meets the needs of our growing, vibrant community.

The heart of our medical center is based on the foundation of our core values of Integrity, Compassion, Advocacy, Resourcefulness and Excellence. We are continually focused on bringing these values to life in our every day interactions with our fellow employees and the patients we serve.  We are fortunate to have a strong base of loyal and dedicated employees and physicians who go above and beyond to ensure a world class patient experience.

Recently Garden Park has gone through incredible growth as the area has grown stronger in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  We have over 180 physicians in many specialty areas available at Garden Park Medical Center.  They consistently bring a level of expertise to our patients that is second to none. Our accomplishments were made possible because of the dedication and commitment of our high caliber, caring and compassionate employees, volunteers and medical staff.  We welcome the opportunity to serve you and your family and look forward to continually putting the word “care” back into “healthcare.”
